Dr. Sebastian Pawlus will shortly mention whythe high-pressure dielectric investigations are important for understandingproperties of various materials and then why the primary alcohols are soimportant in studies of H-bonded materials. Then he will present results fromthe high pressure measurements of various monohydroxy alcohols. He will try toconvince the Spectators that further studies of the alcohols, especially atelevated pressure, deserve to be continued.
